Site: Style and Aesthetic INSPO

I want the overall style and aesthetic of my website to be simplistic and clean. I will still add elements and pictures that reflect my personal style and self, but I don’t want to over do it. By having a clean site the viewer will be able to see the information clearly and they will feel welcome. Any information including my bio will be short and sweet. When people are looking at websites, including myself, they don’t want to read a lot of “words.” For the most part people will skim the information. The more impactful and straight to the point you are, the better. Basically I am going with the “less is more concept. The colors will include black, white, and grey. When it comes to font it will be clean and simple. The only font I want to be individualized is my name (the title of the site). I want it to be in my actual handwriting. I have attached a picture that shows a basic layout of the style and colors I am after for my site.

The website aesthetic that I would like to create is going to be simple and clean, while still incorporating some of my personality into it. I am a fashion marketer so I want my work to look clean, organized, and professional. In order to do so, my website needs to encompass simplicity. I have never done any sort of web design. WIX provides templates that will guide me and that a I can also mold into my own. Looking forward to building my online portfolio. Introduction

HELLO! I am Kelly Dolen. I am a fashion marketing student at the Art Institute of Seattle. I grew up in Kingston, WA and I am currently living in Poulsbo. I work and attended classes (both full-time). When I do have free time I enjoy being outside (when the weather is nice), spending time with my dog, and just having fun! I am currently manager at a bakery on Bainbridge Island. This summer I will start my internship with Nordstrom. I could't be more excited for that! Fashion has always been something that I have been interested in. Even as a kid I loved it. I like that it can be so fun and how it can transform a person. I have always appreciated ALL types of styles and find many of them inspiring. Fashion is ever changing. I love the industry and can't see myself doing anything else. I still have no clue what I want to do when "I grow up." I have so many interests within the fashion industry. For now I will just see where the road takes me...
